Weaver Lake Elementary PTO

Mission Statement and Purpose

The Weaver Lake Elementary PTO is organized for the purpose of supporting the education of children at Weaver Lake Elementary by fostering relationships among the school, parents, and teachers.

What is PTO?

We are a group of parents/guardians and teachers with a primary objective to support our school and its students.

How do I join?

Every parent or guardian of students and every Weaver Lake Elementary staff member is an automatic member of the PTO! We would like to encourage you to join one of our next general meetings.

Who can come to a PTO Meeting?

Everyone! We recognize it may feel awkward for some people to walk into a meeting where they do not know anyone. Many of us felt the same way when we went to our first meeting. We are a welcoming group that enjoys meeting new people. We love our school, teachers, staff, and students. Please consider joining us at one of our meetings.

What are the benefits of coming to a PTO meeting?

Meet other parents and staff members! Help build a school community and have a positive impact.

Exchange ideas! We want to hear your ideas and opinions about how we can make Weaver Lake Elementary a great place for our children.  Together, we can make a difference.

Voting Rights! Participate in votes to approve the budget, select events to host, select fundraisers, elect board members, and more. (Remember, you are a member already—your vote matters!)

Be a role model!  Show your child that you value education.  Research demonstrates:  “When parents are involved in their children’s education at home, they do better in school.  And when parents are involved in school, children go farther, and the schools they go to are better.”

Updates! Hear updates on what is going on in each grade and school!

Stay connected!
