Meet the Board
Weaver Lake PTO Executive Board is comprised of volunteers who have taken on leadership roles to support the staff and students at our school.
We have tremendous pride in Weaver Lake Elementary and are grateful for the volunteers who help make everything run smoother at our school. We enjoy working side-by-side with you and look forward to an eventful year!
We also want to express our gratitude to the volunteers who chair our PTO events & fundraisers. They are the ones who bring the PTO activities to life, and we are lucky to have them!

Weaver Lake Elementary PTO Board Officers
Hi Weaver Lake parents and teachers! I am very proud of our school and excited to serve as PTO president. I have 2 children attending Weaver Lake, and have been involved with PTO since 2016. I work full-time in the semiconductor industry.
I enjoy doing various volunteer activities for the school and getting to know many families and teachers. We are fortunate to have so many dedicated parents and staff members.
When I'm not working, I am helping with my kids sports and activities, or spending time outdoors with my family. We especially enjoy camping and any lake-related activities - waterskiing, wakeboarding, fishing, swimming and canoeing.
I look forward to meeting more families and staff, and encourage you to attend our monthly PTO meetings. Please reach out any time if you have any questions, concerns, or new ideas.
Hi Weaver Lake Community! I'm so excited to be serving as your VP! I co-parent 2 children that attend Weaver (3rd and 1st grades) and we've loved our time here!
I work full time at Target Corporation in Item Data Management. I'm originally from New York, and of Indian descent. I love nature walks (in winter too) and venturing out into what MN has to offer. I am an introvert, but can't stay away from getting to know and engaging in our community for too long! I love volunteering in different capacities for Weaver; whether it be as an event chair, event volunteer, or behind-the-scenes planning and organizing. I'm convinced that our school has the best PTO ever! So much passion and talent on this team...we are all in great hands.

OPEN Position - Volunteer Needed
Hi, my name is Amie, our family is one of the Weaver families at Weaver Lake Elementary. We have one soon to be alumni of Weaver Lake and soon to be 2nd grader. There is a lot to love about our school and a lot of ways to help the school. I know the first few meetings I went to, I felt a bit out of sorts and didn't know what to expect. If you want to find a way to help our school community and you are uncertain how to start, I'd be happy to chat.
When I am not volunteering at the school, I am helping my husband run his business, and volunteering in our neighborhood.
Our family enjoys traveling, exploring the north shore of MN, and various sports.
I look forward in helping you find the answers to your questions!

Open Positions for the 2023-2024 School Year
Fundraising Chair - Support our talented group! Oversee the planning process of all PTO events and fundraisers, recruit chairpersons as needed, and create and submit facility permits. 2-year officer term.
Secretary - Keep us documented! Keep all organization records, take, record, distribute, and summarize minutes, prepare meeting agendas, handle correspondences, and be the source of truth with minutes, bylaws, rules, and PTO membership list. 2-year officer term.
Nominating Chairperson - The sad reality is our children move on to middle school, our friends move away, or time is no longer available for our current volunteers to help run our programs. At the end of each school year, the PTO posts the open officer positions and any volunteer needs for the next school year. The Nominating Chairperson oversees this process and the nominees for our election for the next school year.
School Supply Kits - Review the yearly contract, review kit contents, and market the program.
